On Friday the 13th of March. 2020 - the United States shutdown - on Saturday March 14th I knew I was going to need a creative practice to stay sane in the weeks and months ahead. I began the Words of the Daze that Saturday. Analog Generative - the rules were simple - take the Merriam Websters Word of the Day - do a Google Image Search of just that word - Create a work out of the resulting images. The pandemic was a daze - the words kept me grounded.
